Creative Nonfiction—Essay WritingApply Now
TRUDY PALMERAUGUST 22-29This Class Is Full
Telling the truth creatively. That might sound like a euphemism for lying, but it’s actually a description of creative nonfiction—a popular genre that provides factual information through the art of storytelling.
Together, we’ll explore a topic familiar to everyone, consider key facts about it, and do a little interviewing. Then you’ll dive into writing to explore your perspective on the information we’ve gathered. Finally, you’ll craft an essay sharing your perspective, bolstered by fact and strengthened by storytelling. No writing experience is necessary—we’ll practice strategies for writing fearlessly and fluidly. Learn more about creative nonfiction.
