LAUREN AND JAIME EICHARAUGUST 22-29

This Class Is Full

Do you want to become a smarter phone, or point-and-shoot, photographer? Most of us carry a camera in our pocket all day long, and as technology gets better and better, we’re given the opportunity to take amazing photos with this little phone or a point-and-shoot camera. This class is geared towards beginner photographers who want to make art out of day-to-day moments. We’ll dive into concepts like composition, lighting, and color. We’ll practice taking control of the things we can control, and moving our bodies until we’ve found a nice angle for the best shot.

Each day we’ll approach subject matter and situations you’ll want to know how to shoot—people, activities, landscapes, close-up and distant, in daylight, shadow, and dark—even better selfies! We’ll go over a few options for editing your photos right on your phone, and what to do with all those images that take up storage.

You’ll be amazed by the kind of photos you can take when you slow down and keep basic photography concepts in mind.

You’ll need: a phone with a camera on it or a point and shoot camera.
