Have you a story from your childhood you'd love to illustrate for your family? Do you want to take your painting skills beyond the tablet into the pages of a book? In this workshop we'll explore the basics and dimensions of illustrating children's tales:
- Creating characters
- Making facial expressions
- Dividing the text dramatically for best page-turning effect
- Using colors to set the mood or set off the action
- How illustrators use research and experiment with effects, and more
I look forward to showing you some ways to develop a story you'll be excited to illustrate!
