I have been the Communications Director since summer 2015. When I am not at Camp, I live in beautiful Hancock, NH with my family. Our town is close to Mt. Monadnock so we spend a lot of time outdoors hiking, skiing, photographing, and enjoying the beauty that surrounds us in southern New Hampshire. Prior to working at Camp, I worked for The Mary Baker Eddy Library and The Christian Science Monitor. I spent a year up in Maine at the Maine Media Workshops studying photography, my favorite thing to do! In the off-season, I am a freelance photographer in addition to my work for Camp.
My daughter, Perrine, attended Newfound for 9 years and my son, Eli, has attended Owatonna for 8 years. We love spending the summer on the shores of Long Lake! Being the Communications Director, allows me the opportunity to observe and photograph all the good that occurs throughout the summer. Every day brings remarkable moments: hearing the campers’ voices as they laugh and sing, the smile that spreads across a camper’s face as he/she finally gets up on water skis or makes it to the top of the rock wall, the encouragement and support the counselors give to the campers, the sharing that goes on a Wednesday testimony meeting. The good overflows! Truly, there is no other place like Newfound and Owatonna.
