FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What should I bring?
Bring a sleeping bag (or other bedding), pillow, towel, flashlight, and clothes for both warm and cool days.
Do I have to stay all weekend?
No! We will be happy to have you for as long as you are able to help. There will be meals from Saturday breakfast through Monday lunch and housing from Friday night through Sunday night.
Can I bring children?
Yes! There will be projects for children and adults of all ages. Childcare, however, will not be provided, so children should be of the age to help and will need to be supervised by parents at all times.
What is the weather like?
It could be cool and damp or hot and sunny. Be prepared for any and all weather conditions. Nights are often chilly, so we recommend bringing warm sleep wear and bedding.
What do I do when I arrive?
Drive down the hill to Newfound and check in at the Dining Hall. There will be waivers to sign and a list of available cabins to stay in. After you have moved into your cabin, please park your vehicle back at the top of the hill to keep the Newfound area open.
